To traverse the human condition with open eyes, especially our tension towards the other, the passionate search for these life-giving bonds made possible by not surrendering to loneliness and distance. This is the aim of the fascinating journey that the exhibition Together presents through sixty masterpieces, many of which belong to the most important protagonists of the art world of the last two centuries. A path that starts from the elegance of the Pre-Raphaelites and reaches the suggestions of Surrealism, through the languages of Expressionism, Symbolism and Abstraction: John Everett Millais, Franz von Stuck, Vasilij Kandinskij, Alberto Savinio, De Chirico, Renato Guttuso, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Giuliano Vangi, Gianfranco Ferroni, Tibor Csernus, Salvador Dalí and others.
The exhibition project involves museums and collectors from eight European countries (Austria, Croatia, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, UK and Hungary), thanks to the collaboration of, among others, the Belvedere in Vienna, the Musée Carnavalet in Paris, as well as the Palazzo Pitti in Florence and the MART of Rovereto, the Royal Academy of Arts of London and the Teatre Museu Dalí in Figueres.
